What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device when you visit. They help the site remember certain things — such as whether you have already seen a notice or what settings you prefer — so that your next visit works a little more smoothly.

Cookies are not programmes and cannot carry viruses. They simply hold a small piece of text that a website can read back. Most modern websites use them in some form.

Your Cookie Preferences

Use the toggles above to choose which optional cookie categories you are comfortable with. Use the buttons below to apply a choice across all categories at once.

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our site are set by third-party services rather than Tengah Works directly. These include:

  • Google Analytics — helps us understand site usage in aggregate.
  • Google Maps — used on our homepage to show our office location.
  • Font providers — Google Fonts loads typography used across the site.

Each third-party provider operates under its own privacy and cookie policies. We encourage you to review those if you would like more detail.

How Long Do Cookies Last?

Cookies fall into two broad types based on how long they remain on your device:

  • Session cookies — these exist only while your browser is open and are removed when you close it.
  • Persistent cookies — these remain on your device until they reach their expiry date or you delete them manually. Our persistent cookies typically last between 90 days and 14 months, depending on their purpose.
